During the summer of 2026 visitors may join us for the open days of the Observatory on the following days which coincide slightly with full moon:

Tuesday June 30, Wednesday July 29, Friday August 28, Thursday September 24

⚠️⚠️ URGENT All remaining open nights for 2026—specifically August 21 (already scheduled) and 28, as well as September 24—will be held at the “The shepherd’s Land” theme park, at the Municipality of Anogeia, from 20:00 to 23:00 rather than at the Skinakas Observatory. This decision prioritizes the safety of staff and the public in the event of large crowds, given the simultaneous work being carried out in various areas of the Observatory. Details regarding the schedule for these events will follow in the coming days.
